All sorts of adventures await including sports, arts and crafts, water play, outdoor exploration, and field trips.
Explore color through different art projects, activities and games. The week will end with an Art Show featuring the student’s work.
Animal lovers will enjoy daily study trips to learn about and experience a wide variety of animals. *Note this camp meets until 12:30pm.
Sports of All Sorts
Explore, learn, and play a variety of indoor and outdoor sports. The week will include a field trip
to a local sports facility.
L’il Chef’s Cooking Camp
Learn cooking skills including measuring, mixing and cutting, all while making simple foods. End the week with a mini-restaurant for families.
Drum, sing and dance to the music of Africa and the Caribbean. This camp is for students who have completed grades 4-7 only.
Exploring the Great Outdoors
Learn all about trees, flowers, and creatures of Elkhart County! Students will also learn how to build an outdoor structure!
Engineering in the Community
Take a field trip to a local company and learn the importance of engineers in Elkhart. Students will determine a real world problem a local company faces and use their engineering skills to solve it.
Students will venture into painting, drawing, photography, collage and technology, ending with an Art Show featuring the students’ work.
Focus on service projects within the community! Students will volunteer at various locations, help to beautify our city and create items for local schools.
Pots & Pans Band
Campers will use pots, pans, buckets and other recycled items to play and create music. A performance with the repurposed materials will take place at the end of the week.
Students will learn about drama through script selection and modification, blocking, and
rehearsal, culminating with a performance.
Campers will explore age-appropriate robotics using EV3 robots and coding with LEGO Mindstorms software. End-of-week demonstration to showcase what they’ve learned!
This camp explores all of the things you can create and do on a iPad. Build your digital portfolio!
Intro to Ozobots
Learn how to program an Ozobot using various robotics skills. Each day will include challenges, competitions, robots and fun.
Campers practice teamwork to find clues, learn strategy and solve puzzles each day to meet an objective. Various tasks include finding out what is in a locked box or “escape” from a room.
Hands On Science
Hands-on science experiments and activities including dissecting, making and launching rockets, and exploring chemical reactions.
City with a Heart
Travel around and learn about the history of Elkhart through field trips, art and technology.
Arts & Crafts
Students will spend the week making all sorts of “Pinterest” inspired craft projects.
